This Shipping Policy applies to all orders placed through kitchenustore.com (the “Site”), operated by beau tony Japanese food LLC, located at 2717 W Olympic Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90006. For any shipping-related questions, please contact us at service@kitchenustore.com.
1. General Information
Beaufood primarily serves customers in Europe but accepts orders from all countries worldwide. All transactions are processed in Euros (EUR). We ship Japanese restaurant and kitchen supplies, including knives, cookware, tableware, and utensils. Some items such as ceramic donabe pots and knives are fragile; we take extra care in packaging.
2. Processing Time
Orders are processed within 1 to 3 business days after payment confirmation. Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding public holidays observed in California, United States. During high-volume periods (e.g., holiday seasons, new product launches), processing may take up to 5 business days. You will receive a confirmation email with tracking information once your order has been shipped.
3. Shipping Methods and Delivery Estimates
We partner with major international carriers including DHL, UPS, FedEx, and national postal services (such as Deutsche Post, La Poste, Royal Mail, PostNL) depending on your location and selected shipping speed.
Estimated delivery times after dispatch:

Within Europe (EU and EFTA countries): 3 to 7 business days for standard shipping; 1 to 3 business days for express shipping.

United Kingdom: 4 to 8 business days (additional customs clearance may cause delays).

United States and Canada: 5 to 10 business days.

Rest of World: 7 to 14 business days, depending on local postal efficiency and customs processing.
Please note that these are estimates, not guarantees. Beaufood is not responsible for delays caused by customs, weather, carrier strikes, or other force majeure events.
4. Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the total weight of your order, the destination country, and the selected shipping method. We offer the following general structure (subject to change without prior notice for operational reasons):

Standard Shipping within Europe: Starting from €5.90 for orders under 0.5 kg. Free standard shipping on orders over €60 (Europe only).

Express Shipping within Europe: Starting from €14.90.

International Shipping (outside Europe): Starting from €11.90 for standard; express rates calculated at checkout.
Exact shipping fees will be displayed in your shopping cart before you complete your purchase. All prices are in Euros.
5. Customs, Duties, and Taxes
For orders shipped outside the European Union (including to the UK, Switzerland, Norway, the United States, and other non-EU countries), your order may be subject to import duties, taxes, and customs clearance fees levied by the destination country. These charges are the sole responsibility of the customer. Beaufood has no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely by country; please contact your local customs office for more information.
We do not collect VAT or GST for non-EU destinations. For EU customers, VAT is included in the price where applicable under EU distance selling rules. As our legal entity is based in the United States, no US sales tax is applied.
6. Address Accuracy
You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address at checkout. If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect or incomplete address provided by you, we will contact you to arrange reshipment. Additional shipping charges will apply. If you realize an error after placing your order, please email service@kitchenustore.com immediately. We cannot modify the address once the order has been handed over to the carrier.
7. Lost, Damaged, or Stolen Packages

Lost in transit: If tracking shows that your package has been lost by the carrier, please notify us within 14 days of the estimated delivery date. We will file a claim with the carrier on your behalf. Upon claim approval, we will either issue a refund or send a replacement (subject to product availability).

Damaged upon arrival: Kitchen supplies such as ceramic bowls, donabe pots, and porcelain items are fragile. If your package arrives visibly damaged, please take photos of the outer box and the damaged products before opening. Contact us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and photos. We will assess and offer a replacement or partial/full refund as appropriate. For knives and metal utensils, damage is rare but will be handled similarly.

Stolen after delivery: Beaufood is not responsible for packages that are stolen after tracking confirms delivery. We recommend using a secure delivery location or a pickup point if available.
8. Undeliverable Packages and Refused Deliveries
If a package is returned to us because the carrier attempted delivery multiple times without success, or because you refused to accept the package without a valid reason, you will be responsible for the original shipping costs and any return shipping fees. We may deduct these costs from any refund issued.
9. Shipping Restrictions
We currently do not ship to the following countries or regions due to customs restrictions or carrier limitations: Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, Crimea, and any other sanctioned territories. This list may change without notice. Additionally, some countries may prohibit import of certain kitchen knives. It is your responsibility to verify that the products you order are legal to import into your country. If your country is not listed at checkout, please contact us to confirm whether we can ship to you.
10. Business Days and Holidays
Our shipping operations follow US Pacific Time. Major holidays observed include New Year‘s Day, Independence Day (July 4), Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day. During local holidays in your country, delivery may be delayed even if we have shipped your order on time.
11. Order Tracking
Once your order ships, you will receive an automated email containing a tracking number and a link to the carrier’s tracking portal. Please allow up to 24 hours for the tracking status to update. If you do not receive a tracking email within 5 business days of placing your order, check your spam folder or contact service@kitchenustore.com.
12. Fragile Items Handling
Ceramics, porcelain, and glass items are marked as fragile in our system. We use double-wall boxes, bubble wrap, and fragile stickers for such products. If you receive a damaged fragile item despite our packaging, please follow the damaged package procedure in Section 7. We may request additional photos for insurance claims.
13. Changes to This Shipping Policy
We may update this Shipping Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
